Engineering Leadership Coaching

You are already in the work. You do not have to work through every decision alone.

Engineering Leadership Coaching is ongoing and cadence-based support for leaders who are already in the work and want support navigating current decisions, pressure, ambiguity or growing responsibility. Sessions are agenda-driven by you: current decisions, pressure, ambiguity or a growing scope of responsibility. You can bring a specific topic, or we can start with what has felt difficult, unclear or repeatedly stuck since the last session.

What This Is

Ongoing support. Not a curriculum.

Coaching does not follow a fixed program. Each session is set by what is actually in front of you: a decision that needs pressure testing, a difficult conversation you need to prepare for or a growing scope that has outpaced your current systems.

The goal is better judgment in the moments that matter, with a trusted place to work through decisions before they become larger problems.

  • An Engineering Manager, Senior Manager, Director or VP working through a specific stretch or transition.
  • A senior or staff engineer weighing a move into management who wants to think it through first.
  • A leader who already has the fundamentals and wants an outside perspective as scope grows.
  • A leader who wants ongoing support without a fixed curriculum or long-term commitment.
  • A Mentorship graduate who wants to keep the outside perspective going after the program ends.

Mentorship and Coaching do different jobs.

Coaching is ongoing and agenda-driven by you. It provides outside perspective and support for real situations as they happen. Mentorship is structured and time-bound, built for Engineering Managers and senior engineers preparing to move into management who need a repeatable leadership system. If that sounds like a better fit right now, the Engineering Manager Mentorship Program may be the better starting point.
